Surf is still above Juventas. Surf was missing 4 players in the final, including their top 2 and their goalie (4 kids left for Spain to play for Surf Select in a tournament).

Let’s stop and laugh at how insane it is for 2011’s to go to Spain to play on a “select” team. Surf in CA has mastered the art of making $$ off of their real teams’ reputation. It’s actually very impressive.

It is completely insane.
Other teams seem to be following unfortunately.

UM NEFC?? We are talking about 2011 right? What NEFC team has beaten SSS, Juve, Surf, Seacoast? The North beat Seacoast but not Juve and Surf. Try again.

I agree. Surf is still the better team. SSS is the best right now. The issue with Surf is you take their Striker out and the Center mid and they are average. Once they leave then what.

And what cool things did you do with your kid this week? Trip to Spain doesn’t seem so bad to me (not at Surf or in Spain at the moment)
Yes, not a fact. But probably better to wait for for 90%+ of kids. Once they move, they lose the ability to enjoy other hobbies (arts, music, other sports, etc.) but it will likely help their soccer career if that's the sole focus. I am just not convinced that the kid that is already great really improves her options if they make the move to Stars.
You’re right. I was too lazy to give the counter argument and spend two pages defending my stance. Then the op gave my argument for
me in his rebuttal. And I quote ‘it will likely help their soccer career’ to go to Blue.
