As a board lurker I must say the silence on this age group is rare. The 2010 blue and white team parents have been melting down for a month while the 2011 teams parents aren’t saying a word. From the outside it seems like everyone is either happy,nervous or accepting of promotion/demotion. It’s always interesting to find out how the stars blue national teams are built so it will be interesting to see how many current players were dropped and how many new players are coming from white or blue regional or from outside the club. We shall see.

The 2010 group was unique by having two strong teams that had not combined best players yet. 2011 is mostly sorted. No arguments to be had. Only question is if outside players are joining. 2010 Stars group is also unique in their obsessiveness on this board. 2007 is the only comparable group and that doesn’t seem to be Stars parents for the most part. The main 2010 culprit was a borderline Stars White parent whose kid got moved to Blue. When you see all the jerk comments flying towards SSS and NEFC next season, keep that in mind. Stars Blue doesn’t know what they brought on board yet.

The white 2011 team has been coached by SM for the past 4+ years. And he only develops his favorites (and that's not based on talent).
And that's reflected in the rankings. There's probably nobody on that team that is worthy of being on Blue.. Maybe next year that will change now that they will get a real coach.
Won't be surprised if there's an exodus of SM's favorites though.
