Look, Select didn’t magically get faster when they traded GA patches for ECNL this fall. Back in the spring they were beaten pretty thoroughly by NEFC, and did not have the same success at the national level that NEFC did in the playoffs.

Select 2011s are doing perfectly fine at this “faster pace”, and the NEFC 2011s would as well (for now). But they will need to keep searching for tough competition to keep an edge, certainly can’t let the pace of typical in-conference competition become normal.

you really need to understand that those ID clinics at that age are all about who spent the most money.

NEFC always sends 5 or so kids to the u14 id centers. It's all club rec, doesn't mean much. See who actually gets asked to the camp. And to the u15 centers.
