They appeared to be fairly equal based on the tournament and recent results but that was match fits all time worst loss. That’s a long ride home to New Jersey

I’d much rather be Select, Stars Blue, Scorps, Stars White or NE Surf players/families this weekend. Cedar Stars 3rd in GA tied Stars White last in ECNL. Select and Stars Blue both had battles with the likes of SUSA and Match Fit. Congrats on your trophy vs the mighty RI Surf though.
Power rankings and not up for debate -
1. Stars Blue
2. Select
3. NEFC
4. Scorps/NE Surf/Stars White
I would think that Stars Blue would also want the opportunity to test themselves against the top team in the state instead of playing the same ECNL kids they’ll see in league play in a couple of weeks :P

Saw many of the 11 games and saw some talent on many teams. Both top tier and second tier at Stars Cup. What I took away from the weekend is the 2011 talent is not consolidated. Saw players carrying teams. Central midfielders doing all the work, great GKs under pressure due to weak defense. Wingers not getting the job done. Best team playing as a team SUSA. They looked like a group who’ve been playing together and coached well. The rest of the teams in top bracket and Champions have holes and players not playing together not vocal. Hopefully it’s just preseason lack of gelling.
