The coaching is far superior on the blue side both national and regional. All you have to do is have a conversation with blue coaches and you realize these guys are about development not just wins. If they lose sure it’s disappointing but blue ECNL in the 2010, 11 years are about big picture. Building a solid team developing properly. White is about acquiring players, lots of cutting, lots of scared players. The new white players no better than the old but SM loves to clean house. Blue will have movement but not the way SM threatens, benches, cuts. You can choose the winning team but if you are knowledgeable you choose the better coach in the younger years especially.

Separate tryouts. But not actual tryouts, the visit practice/talk to the coach kind of tryouts. Both Blue and White recruit as separate entities. Once the teams get to a certain point, (no fixed criteria and varies by birth year), they begin sorting the teams as first team and second team. As the first team, Blue gets to choose from the accumulated talent pool and make offers. A kid can turn down the offer and ask for white if the really wanted to. White then chooses from the remaining pool. Again a kid could turn down white and ask for Blue Regional.
2010 has not created first team/second team yet. The breakout of who will end up where is debatable and subjective at this point.

I’ve seen the 2011 blue team play a few games and you couldn’t be more wrong. They look like a very talented age group that will only get better as the remaining talent arrives. I didn’t realize the animosity between white and blue was this strong.

Nobody said they don't have talent. There's plenty of talent. It's not being used effectively. They just smash the ball down to the fast forward every time. No idea why the coach encourages that.

2010 parents are officially the craziest group out there. It was the 07 group but you beat them. you are averaging around 250 posts a year while the 07 group is only around 200. (no one else is even in the ballpark). Keep it up you f***ing nuts .

If you haven’t noticed, 2011 parents are on this all the time. Whenever possible they insert comments to include 2011s. We know many of these crazy 2011 parents. You’ll see.
