Now, it could lead to more if the organization continues it's new policies. How many external and north shore DPL players can you add to GA before the ship sinks? All the while ignoring players from the Nefc metrowest DPL team. Multiple arguably undeserving coaches kids on roster. Inconsistent treatment between one age group and the next. Kids playing up for sake of politics not merit. Filling rosters above 18 with lower quality players just for the money. Guaranteed playing time to entice kids to leave other clubs, even though they are utterly uncompetitive. So maybe more of the top half will leave, sure.

NEFC dad this is a select parent clearly trying to engage you. It's select's MO. They pick up 1 girl and all of a sudden said girls former team is falling apart. Been happening for years. If I was a betting man I'm taking NEFC every time over Select. I saw a stat that NEFC beat select 80% of the time last year in all divisions so clearly a select parent is trying to cause some panic at NEFC. Won't work.

So NEFC has lost two players? One to Select and one to Stars? Plus a season ending injury to another, and apparent discontent. This doesn’t sound like fabricated drama. Sounds real to me.

Select parents do not think they are part of a comparable league as ECNL. They know this is the best path they can be part of on the South Shore. I do not see Select parents on the attack. However NEFC dad is ALWAYS on the attack trying to say his GA club is better than Selects GA. The reality is, doesn’t matter who has the better GA team, neither are in ECNL so neither will retain their top talent. Select parents know this, but NEFC seems to be in denial about their situation. Top teams, moving forward not living in the past, in the state will always end up being: Stars Blue, Stars white and then a toss up for 3rd between Select GA and NEFC GA. It is what it is. ECNL is the batter pathway so, that’s that NEFC dad. Let your fight w Select go. It’s pointless posturing.

You had it right until you added Stars White. Being in ECNL but consistently missing playoffs is 3rd place.

Being in GA and making playoffs is 2nd place. Obviously, being in GA but missing playoffs is 4th and last spot.

What “ranking system” l? Let us see. Got soccer has a dpi and impact teams rated higher than ecnl and ga. It is a point system that the higher teams don’t play. So most ranking systems are a joke anyway but which one did you use for your statement?

you make a couple of decent points but then you toss your credibility in the trash when you say stars white is at the top of any list. come on. stars white is a distant 5th out of 5 at the hs age groups. tough look for the club and those kids come high school. for south shore parents, the choice is either select or scorps and it isn't a hard choice unless you live super close to taunton or you want your daughter to go to Thayer.

That's a myth. Stars White works hard to perpetuate it.


Here is the college exposure ranking:
1. ECNL playoff teams (usually Blue)
2. GA playoffs teams (varies by age group)
3. ECNL non playoff teams (White, Scorpions).
4. GA non playoff teams (always Seacoast)

The reason is that scouts have limited budgets and get more bang for buck going to major events. I.e. ECNL playoffs and then GA playoffs.

Now it is true that ECNL teams will attract local college attention quite well, generally better than GA which is still good.

For this age group, right now, Blue and Nefc are going to playoffs. That could change this spring based on results.
