Beat them twice and not fall on their face in any other game. Such as another tie to East Meadow. Assuming a loss to SUSA, every game this spring will be an elimination game.

Two solid players. The rest is same level as the top 3 impact teams. Those two players should move to a club with ECNL such as Scorpions national to challenge themselves.

Scorpions ever thought of developing their own talent? Versus hoping for players to jump ship mid season?

If those players truly want to take the nxt step then they should go to Blue and only Blue, otherwise stay where they are.

That 2011 team is no joke. The impact team dominated the three games prior. They did not belong in that bracket. At minimum go up a year and a lower bracket. Much like the 2011 team did. That game today ended in the worse way possible with PK’s. I am guessing if the impact team went up in the gold they could have held their ground.

Sadly the coaching within the Scorpions club just isn't there to develop players. The scorpions have some talented players but they will never take the next step with the current leadership

Ummmmmm isn’t that what Stars does? Waits/hopes for NEFC, Select players to jump ??? Same same. Scorpions national is a great team for the Liverpool Academy Impact and best of Bayside and Surf players to land based on logistics and fit.

Liverpool would not have held their own in Gold. They played 3 very weak teams in their bracket to get to the finals. The 2011 team exposed them for who they are. Kick it to the very fast striker and hope she beats the last defender. They did not play any kind of possession soccer, never played out of the back, gk consistently punted the ball to midfield. Their size compared to the 2011 team in the finals was the only reason they kept it close. Liverpool is outside the top 10, 2010 teams in Mass.

^yup. Hope LFC watched the top division and saw how much better those teams are. If there is a stud on that team and she wants to play beyond impact/DPL level she should be looking to leave ASAP.

So NEFC, SSS and another team or two ‘develop’ one/two kids each per year to land on stars and they are ‘development’ clubs while Stars provides the other 13 kids on the roster and they are not ‘developers’? Ok. Sure.
