It's very relevant whether or not your team is going to the playoffs where the scouts are. That means getting on Blue or NEFC. Maybe SSS at few age groups. At older age groups, White is a thing but not anymore moving forward.

I mean yes it has happened that a college coach there to watch someone else sees a player they don’t know and follows up, etc. it doesn’t work like that.
The point is, they show up to the top ECNL and GA events. Period. Proven.

And the teams mentioned above will begin loosing players during the great migration….(interns of movement of the better players)
Liverpool players will head to Scorpions.
Select impact players will head to Select GA. (As Select GA players go to Stars)
Juventus players will head to Scorpions.
Surf RI players will head to NEFC OR Scorpions.
Bolts West will head to Stars or CT
Bolts South will head to Select

With so much talent coming up in 2010-2012 birth years it’s time MA gets ECNL for more clubs like NEFC and Select. Much better clubs than Scorpions. No way Stars Blue and White National will get the best or all the talent now. There’s too much.

I have seen nearly all of these teams LFC may have 1 player. Stars Lancaster has zero and is far from having any. SSS Impact has zero. Juventus may have one. RI Surf has one definitely able to move up. Have not seen bolts but hear there is one. Additionally Seacoast has one. There may be a few others that will develop or are hidden on other teams. Each of the top 5 teams has a few weak spots to take on new players (Scorpions has more than the others), but the wave of outstanding players that you mention is not readily evident. Having 5 top teams across ECNL and GA has already watered down the true top too far. Main difference is that the speed of play at the top is far faster, technique and decisions are far faster. The teams you list play each week against slow opponents and with slow teammates (speed of play, not necessarily running speed)

Surf has 1?
LFC has 1 defender, 1 mid, 1 forward.
sss impact has 2 forward, 1 mid.
bolts south has 1 forward.
bolts west 2-3 forwards and 1 mid.
also been watching this group btw.
All these players will move up to GA or ECNL and will pick up speed of play in one season as they all are skilled.

I love how the ECNL parents like to think that skilled players from other teams, 2nd teams, can’t adapt to “speed of play.” Absolute untrue but it’s a false narrative that was started. Just a year ago most of these players on first and second teams played each other and with each other in club and town. I’m sorry but your ECNL players haven’t improved that much in a year to widen a gap that can’t be crossed by incoming DPL or Impact players. The speed of play is just an adjustment and I’ve seen kids adjust to it in just a few weeks. Get over yourselves. Your ECNL and GA players are really not that far ahead of at all the second teams at this age.
