I do think there is a serious issue with SM and his mental health. I too have friends that were on his teams last year and or are still there this year. Luckily 3 players escaped his grasp and landed on blue this season. Also fortunately the regional white has a different coach this year than SM.
I hope he gets help. But I agree with the poster above. The parents of these players IMO are a bit to blame for 1. Not reporting him. 2. Continuing to put their kid in that environment. It’s not ok that any of the adults, parents and coach, and owner allow this to continue just to say their kid is on a National team. That’s a lot of ego.

These are some pitiful. All I hear is who is winning and who is losing. How about development. None of your children will be professional soccer players. I don't care if they're on the blue, red, pink, etc.. team
Parents, go back to your jobs, and stay at home mom's go to yoga class.

In case you didn't know colleges also offer academic scholarships, and by the way the average salary of a NWSL player is around 60k. That isn't enough to make up for all the money you have spent chasing the pipe dream.
