No doubt a parent, lot's of angry parents out there. Especially if their so-called "stud" God forbid sits for 15-20 minutes while another child plays. Yes even at the ECNL level when there is no to little drop off the other child should play. Do the team a favor and walk away. Even those parents who you gripe to roll their eyes behind your back. Leave

It's a relief if it coming from a parent not a coach. The coaches are expected to show some level of maturity and professionalism. But, the parents, well we deal with all types don't we? The parents like you describe who have a "stud" for a child usually is not only toxic but also the reason many teams cannot be successful. This type of parent at any level will complain, always be in the coaches ear, the team managers ear, and texting parents they feel comfortable with. They complain around their own kid and that kid comes in with the same attitude thinking they are better. They are unkind to player they feel better than. They don't pass to a player they think is lower and ultimately become the worst ball hog with a crappy attitude. Those are the kids who also quit or get cut down the line when the coach lets them know, they are not a God.

In MY instance (the OP he was responding too). No, we're not on White. Though what he says, describes the situation to a "T". Our parent of the "stud" was pissed her child did not play the full 60 minutes. Very vocal, very rude about it on the sidelines, loves to also coach from the sidelines when there is suppose to be a zero tolerance policy in place. Rather not say what team we're on

Really? There is very little drop off if any at all on a National team. One parent yelling and screaming that her snot nosed brat didn't play the fiull 60 minutes should move on. Are you this parent? No defense for that act.

My eye are open. I know kids get cut and I know lots of changes are coming over the next few seasons. But again, I take issue calling ANY of these kids lazy. These are 12 year olds working their tail off while balancing homework, travel, multiple sports, and family life. Some will make it, and some won't. But its not because they are lazy.

Im not sure what you mean here. Point of the other guys post was to say the 2010s play 70m games. So if someone is referring to 60m games, they should go to the 2011 or 2012 thread and stir up the parents over there. Now everyone is trying to guess which 2010 team has a prima donna, when it wasn't even a 2010 team that the guy was talking about.
