The parents like you describe who have a "stud" for a child usually is not only toxic but also the reason many teams cannot be successful. This type of parent at any level will complain, always be in the coaches ear, the team managers ear, and texting parents they feel comfortable with. They complain around their own kid and that kid comes in with the same attitude thinking they are better. They are unkind to player they feel better than. They don't pass to a player they think is lower and ultimately become the worst ball hog with a crappy attitude. Those are the kids who also quit or get cut down the line when the coach lets them know, they are not a God.
Quite a rant. Look in mirror.

Very vocal, very rude about it on the sidelines, loves to also coach from the sidelines when there is suppose to be a zero tolerance policy in place. Rather not say what team we're on
2010s don't play 60 minute games. Go post in your own thread.

Really? There is very little drop off if any at all on a National team. One parent yelling and screaming that her snot nosed brat didn't play the fiull 60 minutes should move on. Are you this parent? No defense for that act.

Must be the parent or coach in question. Quiet the loser ranting that a 11-12 yr old got a few minutes in a game

If you are the parent in question. Heads up the parents that you are ranting to, ALL talk behind your back and how crazy you are

No kidding coach. Which is why the parent was so upset. Fyi is is more than one '10, so what's your experience on your small team does not apply to other teams or clubs. World is bigger than your own little minute world.

My eye are open. I know kids get cut and I know lots of changes are coming over the next few seasons. But again, I take issue calling ANY of these kids lazy. These are 12 year olds working their tail off while balancing homework, travel, multiple sports, and family life. Some will make it, and some won't. But its not because they are lazy.

The ones who don't make it will be likely due to the parents who are toxic, seeping toxicity through the team, and due to the coach allowing the toxicity while putting his head down looking at this phone. This team will implode. the smart parents will jump to blue.

Im not sure what you mean here. Point of the other guys post was to say the 2010s play 70m games. So if someone is referring to 60m games, they should go to the 2011 or 2012 thread and stir up the parents over there. Now everyone is trying to guess which 2010 team has a prima donna, when it wasn't even a 2010 team that the guy was talking about.

Coach. Look in the mirror. Take responsibility. Maybe a drink or two to calm yourself

Lol, you do realize there is more than one poster stating an issue? Probably more than one parent causing trouble

Another disappointing weekend for many teams. Kick and chase is still very very prevalent at this level
