    Liverpool Impact
    Surf RI
    Bolts South
    Select Sky Blue Impact
    Juventus (top team)
    Stars Regional teams

    then everyone else ….

The above teams all have talent. Some players on each team will move to GA or ECNL teams.

Eventually the top 4-5 teams/clubs will level out to:
Stars, NEFC, Select and Scorpions ECNL and GA teams around age 15.
They have the exposure and pathway. Bolts, Surf, Liverpool and Juventus all will lose the top third of their teams as they all want college offers. Select and Stars will be too clubs in 3 years.
Brilliant! Anyone who argues this hasn’t been through it..

Do the top girls on the bottom 7 teams listed above. that are talented, head to Stars and Select top teams on their own or do they get scouted by coaches attending those games? Our daughter is a 2010 top player forward on one of those non ECNL or GA teams listed above. Will coaches from those clubs approach us, or do we just attend practices on our own, and if we did, wouldn’t our coach find out and risk that relationship?

Player movement is always a guarantee, whether the coaches like it or not. Pick the top team that makes the most sense to you, or maybe two, and start going to their winter practices in December or January.

Talent truly is spread out for 2010. The top teams play each other now and it's usually a one goal difference. The pecking order inside the top tier right now is meaningless.

You should reach out and go to practices. If you head to practices in Lancaster who will know? Stars coaches aren’t calling your coach. I’d tell your daughter not to tell her teammates, and you should do the same with the parents. It’s like job hunting without your current employer knowing it. Keep it to yourself until you know what decision you want to make.

Juventus’ DPL teams have zero wins among them with a rough GD. Is there a specific team that you had in mind or were you simply listing usual suspects. No mention of SPOL or Seacoast. Both are better
than some on the bottom half of that list.

Is this a joke?? Attend a practice or two if you're interested. Fyi...There is a huge difference in atop player in a botton league and then DPL or GA or ECNL. The higher you go the better the competition

You cannot be taken seriously if you lost DPL with the other two leagues.

Point being it's a third tier league but still higher than the other two. A stud in the bottom league or second to bottom were regional teams play might be overwhelmed in DPL or the higher leagues. Side note GA is no where close to ECNL so who shouldn't be taken seriously

Some DPL teams should be included with the Impact teams and regional ECNL. Not sure about for 2010 girls but this holds true for other age groups.

DPL, Impact NPL, ECNL Regional are kind of the 2nd tier. They're usually the teams right below the 1st team at GA/ECNL clubs or else they're the 1st/2nd teams at other clubs. Based on results they're all playing at a pretty similar level...

Competition- and exposure-wise, could well be. In head-to-head matches they're been pretty close in NE anyway.

Yes, they are second tier teams, but with some top tier players who haven’t jumped to the ECNL or GA teams. So, whether or not the teams are winning or better, they’ve got some really good undiscovered talent on those second tier teams who will be replacing top ECNL players. Happens every year.

Sure, of course. Some develop as players but need to move clubs to get a fresh look. Others need a roster spot opening or a change of position to have their chance. There are always one or two every year for all kinds of reasons.

I'll buy this although all the teams in that top list play a lot of close games against each other. I think they are more even than people think.

As for all that Surf talk, that team will never be in the same bracket as the top teams in a tournament. There's a reason why.

Because the coaches of those top teams don’t want their players playing with kids who lack skill and injure their top players. Surf can’t keep up with the speed of play at the top so they’ll foul when frustrated. Not good.

I agree. Mostly close games and if you polled the parents from those teams I think they all would acknowledge that it’s neck and neck. The exception being that Stars White seem to think they are better than the others, results be damned. The question is whether all their posts come from parents or the coach.
