I don’t think that post was correct. The score isn’t on the League website…

Question was more if it’s a scrimmage should the score matter?
A scrimmage could explain a lot if they lost.

Scrimmages are not only pre season warm-ups to shake the rust off, but they allow staff to inspect new recruits, fine tune positions. Should it "count"? Who cares. It doesn't according to the NCAA.

Nonsense, a scrimmage explains nothing. These players are doing 2 training sessions a day. Only a parent thinks it could explain a lot.

Wow, what a bunch of nuts on this thread! I have former players on both teams so I checked the game out...BU won 1-0, scored on a set piece. Here's some color, for those interested-

-Both teams looked pretty good for a first outing, both teams got just about every player in for some time
-BU was slightly dominant, game could've easily been 3/4-0 but they struggle to finish. Most dangerous on set pieces, that will probably be their bread & butter this season. They definitely have some very skilled, crafty players, hopefully new coaching staff will figure out how to best utilize what they've got.
-Fairfield D and GK looked really solid. Stymied some quality shots that other teams would've probably let up as goals. Style of play was a little more athletic and physical, attacking side has good potential just need to get the summer kinks out.

Thank you! Appreciate it! And yes, most people on TS seem to be nuts. Can't even get an answer to a simple question.
