Not a coach but you need to tell your friend to move on. She should be excited to leave the Scorpions if it was such a bad experience. I for 1 am happy that she found a club her daughter will be happy at. Please tell me why she needs to come on ts and air all her dirty laundry? Not sure why Stars White or Scorpions even exist in ECNL other than for a gross money grab. Seriously, in every single age bracket these two teams are bottom dwellers. Every age group in BOTH ECNLN and ECNLR. What's the point? Why do it? Are you just trying to ruin soccer for a bunch of girls? Take a look at the U16 ECNL Regional team for Scorpions, the situation is really bad with 71 goals conceded and only 10 scored. In total across all age groups Stars White ECNL National have a combined goal differential of -149. Scorpions ECNL National across all age groups have a combined goal differential of -23. Stars White ECNL Regional teams across all age groups have a combined goal differential of -57 while Scorpions ECNL Regional teams have a combined goal differential of -93. This is not good for girls soccer. Just drop these teams down a level to fair competition so these players can grow and enjoy the game. This beyond concerning.

this post is completely misleading. yes, the u16 ecnl-r team had issues and i am sure will look completely different next year for that reason. its a huge outlier--all of the other scorpions ecnl-r teams were highly competitive this year.

who cares what the "combined goal differential" is for all the scorpions teams are when, as you point out, one team contributed more than 2/3 of the negative differential

come on people usually at least do a half-decent job of disguising their motives. . agree with last post this is obviously someone who's DD didn't get a return offer to a scorps ecnl-r team and was asked to leave the club

i do generally agree stars white ecnl-r are poor but what do you expect. . its the 4th full team at one club no one has that many good girls even stars

1. Scorpions used to be awesome back when Mewis sisters played there.
2. A couple years ago they decided to not pay their coaches, who left along with vast majority of skilled players.
3. Scorpions recruited lots of 2nd tier players to fill ECNL ranks. So they've pretty much sucked ever since.
4. They are now desperately trying to woo 1st tier players to their teams offering free rides, and kicking existing players to the curb. Guessing mostly Stars White players/cuts going there? Select?
5. Parents are mad. Some kind of loyalty/entitlement argument?
6. Scorpions are still going to suck this upcoming year.
7. Rinse repeat through 2025.
