Big difference playing ulittle fields then moving up to 11v11. Obviously its a talent problem for the 08’s or lack of talent. Girls from most other clubs have caught up to select which is nothing wrong with that. When u look at GA standings and see select 08’s in 5th place in a terrible league that about sums it up. They just aren't that good anymore. -

What wins at 7v7 and 9v9 doesn't always translate to 11v11. Everyone here knows that a team with great ball skills can dominate in tight spaces in a small-sized game. Another group with loads of pure athleticism may end up being much stronger on the 11v11 field. It happens at every club, and it has a lot to do with the group of players they have at a particular age group.Originally posted by Guest View Post

if you live with in a 45 -60 min drive to any of these clubs, that’s your club. If you are within a 45-60 min drive between two clubs go with the one your daughter likes the coach and players. Don’t worry about which club is GA or ECNL. Don’t worry about rankings, they fluctuate.
But if the players are the right fit for your daughter, the coach is good, not an arrogant ego maniac, and your player is in the middle of the pack, that’s your team.Comment
