He might be the best of the group at this age group.
No - I've seen the flowery language with younger age groups - like U12. It's a real issue with parents. I think the use of foul language by teams coached by BA is really high, led by AA in fact. It's so bad that USSF coaches have criticized the DA team for it.

The son, who is one of the leading goal scorers in all of the DAP (which doesn't excuse any alleged foul language), appears to be bucking the trend of Bolts going to Northeastern by committing to Stanford (based on one of the posts above). Interesting...

Hey, good to see that DAP worked out for someone!

At least that's better than seeing another dreary NESCAC or local D3 commitment.

Now let's see 2 years from now if he can sniff the field...and still be eligible after 2 semesters.

being accepted ED is different than committing to play some where. PAC10, really???

for those who don't know him, AA is also very strong academically. My son has played w him for a few years so I have seen him a lot. An outstanding player on the field. Strong and tough, will fight for a spot on a top D1 team.

no one said anything about academics, did they?

I'm curious what the OP was referring to concerning BA's behavior after the UCONN game. While its easy to dismiss his behavior with club teams, its different with college and league admins, who don't look the other way too long if a coach is embarrassing the school. Plenty of examples are out there. As BA would say, he might have to 'clean it the f... up'.

google some of the Uconn publications. BA's behavior was well documented there.

Yeah - anger management issues.. BA would do himself and NU a favor by getting some treatment before there's a big incident and firing.
