I know the Scorpions 2010 Pre-ECNL team is out of Taunton. Are the Stars ECNL (2010) teams out of Lancaster or where do they practice. Any thoughts on either team. Not looking for folks to trash the teams. Constructive criticism is fine

I think we sort of just had this discussion a week ago.
scorpions EVNL is national only and out of Taunton
Stars has 4 teams; 2 ECNL and 2 ECRL for 2010
ECNL practices in Lancaster
ECRL practices in Lancaster and Milford
The Stars 2010 blue national is excellent and the white ECRL team is solid.
Scorpions has just the one team but not sure where they stack up. I believe they lost to the Stars ECRL team.
The Stars NPL, ECRL and ECNL teams are good players with good coaching. Lots of talent and depth in that club.

White national is out of Milford and Lancaster, I think?
They were better than Blue for this age group last fall.

Wow, thank you. I appreciate the in depth feedback. Hard to find on this page. If I'm not willing to travel over an hr to Lancaster is the ECRL Milford team worth it, or should I try looking at the Scorpions.
scorpions lacks depth & quality coaching where as stars excels.

Both Stars teams practice in Lancaster for outdoor seasons. White practices indoors mainly at the bubble in Milford. Blue practices indoors mainly at Teamworks in Acton. Both occasionally use Atlantic Union in Lancaster for indoor space. Indoor space is always subject to change from season to season based on third party agreements.

Within the next year and a half the current White and Blue will be redistributed with top combined players being assigned to blue and the balance going to white. Majority of the top players will come from the current white crop, but if you are a top player joining Stars, both paths lead to the same destination.

Here is the truth - If your kid isn't a top pre-GA player right now, it's already too late to try to join a Stars national team.
Only Stars White, Stars Blue, SSS, and NEFC actually teach the game of soccer. If your kid has spent the last year on a kick and chase team, she's already too far behind.
Stars will only cut a currently rostered player for a clear upgrade who fits perfectly into their style of play. They will invite you to practice, and then offer you a regional spot.

There are so few 2010 girls in this region that can bump off a currently rostered Stars player. It's either pre-GA or some kind of rare physical freak athlete, and even that doesn't generally happen until U15.
The above comment is probably from a Stars coach who desperately needs more kids for the regional team. Is that you, JB?
