It’s to make money and try to establish at competitor the the NEFC tourney since Aztec is in the other soccer clique than NEFC. Aztec probably is just thrilled people noticed they had a tourney.

Okay. You're right. The world renowned nefc spring tournament has all the soccer super duper stars. They even have DPL players . I heard they were signing autographs in between talking with all the D1 coaches on the sidelines. Somebody even said they saw Vlatko in the restroom at forekicks. Bahahahahahah...

It does seem like the tournaments have also divided clubs along the same lines as the leagues. Which really moves the damage to youth soccer to another level. Just unbelievable that people are so self centered.

My D isn’t on a top team because I work long hours and the spouse hates soccer and literally wants nothing to do with it.

Not sure why the original poster is worried or needs to complain about another team’s event . It would be nice if all the local club teams could play in a local event but the multitude of leagues that exist have split clubs into groups so that just doesn’t happen. My son recently reminded me of the old gps tournaments where they would set up the brackets to get the gps teams to the final whereas the other clubs top teams played against each other in another bracket. So there is always some angle.

This tournament was a joke. Missing refs with no solutions except the coaches reffing. A shuttle bus? Really? Games too tight. And the entire team list was just the NEP cabal. Of all the tournaments this past weekend, this was easily the worst

I wasn't at this particular tournament but why is the shuttle bus such a huge deal to a few posters? Have you never been to any large tournaments? Really not a big deal, folks.

when theyre not on time its not great
