This comment is ridiculous. You may not think it but it's a complete disservice to this CHILD who has worked very hard. To suggest she achieved this due to favoritism is mean spirited and uncalled for. If you have issues with the adults you mentioned then comment about their characters without insulting a child.

Nothing against the child but TopDrawer is as reliable a source as a political poll. It is all based upon who they talk to and if you look real close you will see that the only ones that get seem to get any recognition from it in this area are Stars and Scorpions.

Parents don't need to make shameless plugs like this thread when their child is actually as talented as this player is. Either the website is wrong (and by extension the National Team coaches) or the website is right (unless there are more than 2 NP players in the Northeast). Since there aren't, why did you use this congratulatory email to snipe at the evaluators and topdrawer when, evidently in this case, they got it right?

Surely true that she is great kid but people have a right to question Top Drawer. This is one man operation out of his Long Beach basement that is notorious for plugging players in the system such as DAP. If you look at the regional player ratings on the boys side they are almost all DAP. He also created a huge scandal a few years ago when in became obvious he was plugging Irvine players as top nation players Top Drawer was receiving $$$ from a Euro club training system that had Irvine as a part of their pool of "destination" teams. Top Drawer had this program on their web site and was receiving cash for it. Obvious conflict of interest. $$$ and rating of players has absolutely no place in youth soccer. This sleazy moron needs to be thrown out of youth soccer.

Huh? Topdrawer soccer was at one time at one man operation out of an Indianapolis home office (eg. Rob Zeigler) but that is no longer the case and hasn't been for over 5 years. It was purchased by Californians - so maybe the Long Beach thing is correct. Zeigler is an employee. I'm sure posting this is supposed to make you look smart but you are completely wrong on these facts at least. I do think that there was some sort of relationship with some club training program which has now thankfully ended. As for the rankings - there are flawed as ALL rankings and selection processes are - you just can't see everyone. No idea if either F or J are involved as scouts but the fact it was posted on a thread designed to attack a particular club doesn't give much credence. Oh by the way - college and professional programs also prefer DAP - that's where the majority of the best players play - not all but a majority. And its easy to see those players and scout them.
