Predictions for New England college soccer this Fall

It is great that college soccer is up and running again...for the Fall.

Late winter and early spring up here was cold, snowy, icy and ground was hard as concrete. We are not set up for year around college soccer up here.

A lot of changes and welcome back Ivy schools. Brownies look like the Ivy team to beat?

What about the others? Let's get psyched for college soccer in the Fall again.

Interested to see how Williams fares. Their interim coach is impressive on paper, but I suspect Sullivan left the program not ingreat shape, though I have no inside info. Will be super interesting to see what Shapiro does with Harvard.

Why do you think Brown's the team to beat? I haven't been hugely impressed with their head coach.

The ivy league is an anomaly. The did not give players covid years my understanding. So seniors graduated out to other programs or stopped playing. It will be interesting to see how the shape up even in ivy league since all of it is an unknown. Brown was the best ivy in 2019. No telling if they are still.

Williams will be interesting too. A lot of times a long time coach sees the lack of talent and moves on. Since D3 is in same situation as Ivy, won't know.

BC women had a win in an exhibition over Army. I don't put a lot in exhibition as it is what spring would have been except counted this yr. Good that teams are getting out there.

Are talking about 2nd-tier male athletes, or irrelevant female athletics? Hard to shape my posts without this clarification.

The thread is about both. The post to which you trolled is about women's soccer.

Saw them. Maine & Merramack? Do they really get you ready for CAA play?

See the BC thread. You get the preseasons you can, not all will against quality competition. Usually it's whatever is a cheap bus ride away

Yet here you are pretending not to care about soccer for either gender. Makes total sense.

I could be wrong but I think the OP was poking fun at tier guy.

Girls soccer, sorry, Women's soccer is all I care about now.
We got players from the Rising u13 thread all over Northeast: BC, BU, Northeastern, Holy Cross, UMASS, UCONN, UNH, UVM, URI, Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton, Colgate, Fairfield, Merrimack, and that's just D1. Plenty of quality heading to NESCAC, Liberty League, Centennial - who'd I leave out?

What are you saying? That u13 kids in a prior thread now in programs you named?
this is about how the programs will fare not just locals.

Why do some schools post score of exhibition games and some do not? What is the protocol?
