    their money?

Tell them we belong to the best girls league in the country and only way to a D1
school thus fostering a sense of (imagined) fear.

Hahahaha, the attitude of the flock. Go ahead, follow blindly. As for your comment, it speaks to your character. Nope, my daughter was recruited. We said no thank you.

I hope you have the same attitude if you go to a movie, Red Sox game, or send your kid to a private school. :)

Finally someone who is not FOLLOWING the herd, and did not listen to the sales pitch, "Your daughter needs to step up to the next big challenge."

Good luck and have a nice summer.

When the kids are goin, it's a matinee, or wait for DVD. Prefer the Revs, but no matter what, buy the cheap seats. Private School? No. In an excellent public school and doing well! Thank you.

I really can't wait to see the uniform and get the picture on Facebook.

My son was on the C team at his other club but he was offered a slot to the Stars this season. I knew he had it in him.

Well what is the cost of the program. It was all over the place the lst time it was brought up. Anywhere from $1200 - $5000

I decided to trust someone who I knew that got out of dodge once the first contract was up. He said the cost all summed up was very close to $4000 and they denied the ECNL team option.

That is pretty accurate and we have been through this before. STARS, MPS, NEFC and several other better clubs will cost some money as they do more in those costs. Strip it down like most little clubs do and they are the same.

Pick your poision but it is going to cost roughly the same unless you are on scholarship.

Hold on a few minutes, we are all at lunch in Davio's celebrating our ability to make the financial numbers. We can reply to TS shortly if we can get back to the bentley in time.

Couldn't possibly be that someone in the Stars family is unhappy. Lord knows that everyone is treated so fairly and no one from that camp could possibly have any issues. They don't cut players or put them down on the "B" teams.

This thread needs to die. It's had such a long and fretful life. Can we just let it end. For every 12 minutes people spend defending their position, we could be writing letters to our congressmen....changing policy....helping solve world hunger....loving our kids. ECNL, NON ECNL, b teamers, c teamers and ballerinas. If I put half as much energy into accepting my child for who she is rather than trying to create or live my own dream through her questioning every possible decision related to her soccer "career," I'm sure all of this would be meaningless.

                                Enough already..
