ENCL Hype

My daughter's U15 travel team plays friendlies against U15 and U16 ENCL teams often. They usually win or tie the ENCL teams they play. My take . . . you are paying money for the hype and college coaches are falling for it.

Everyone knows college coaches are not that smart - as evidenced by the fact that they confide in one of the posters here about their opinions of players from other clubs. More than one of them does this - so it must be a requirement of the job to be stupid AND lacking in discretion. Of course that could all change if the coaches simply stopped recruiting players from certain clubs and started recruiting more from others. Then it would be a change in the right and noble direction. Eureka!

Nope, perfectly happy with our experience this year. There was nothing that I would call abusive. Coaches were professional, well prepared and competent.
