Tournaments

Doe's anyone know if there are youth tournments put on during the winter at the Boston College Bubble? Looks like a very good avenue for having games during the winter - was looking for something in the March time frame.

We wanted to reach out as we are hosting the BC Women’s Soccer 7v7 event in the Bubble at BC on March 1st, 2009. Each team will be guaranteed four games. U10 and U11 teams will play from 9am -2pm and U12 and U13 teams will play 2:30pm-7:30pm. Please see the attached flier for details and registration information. Please note, this has sold out quickly in previous years so sign up early.

For some coaches, indoor soccer tournaments have always been frowned upon and not thought of as the “real” game that is played outdoors, preferably in an 11-a-side format. But the simple fact of the matter is that year-round soccer is next to impossible in the area we live. Even in regular indoor play, the speed of play, as long as it is not at the expense of technical skill, can be good for developing quick thinking players

Registration: Deadline is due TWO weeks prior to each tournament date. Divisions are set up on a level of play basis.

Applications: received after the deadline will be accepted on an availability basis only. Due to difficulty arranging tournament schedules, refunds will only be given when we are notified in writing of a cancellation at least 7 days prior to the day of the tournament.

Format: Round-Robin 3 game guarantee. Games are 25 minutes in length. Top 2 teams in each division will play a final game.
Rosters: roster sizes will be an 10 player maximum. ALL rosters are due prior to your first game.
Only Turf shoes or flats are allowed!!
