You've heard it before, and here we go again. I won't name the school, as this applies to more than
one, other then to say Tampa area. A High school coach threw down the gauntlet: play club and risk not
playing high shcool. In fact, several academy team players are currently under suspension for attending
the recent national tournament in Ca. Go to Disney: be prepared for the consequences.
Now I can understand the reason for wanting your club players around as they help you win games.
But talk about one, selfish SOB. College coaches do attend these big, name tournaments and do
recruit from them. Many of these kids have been playing since the age of five, they enjoy the
high school experience, and now punish them for hoping to attract the attention of a college coach?
