      What were the game scores?

        18s: revs, 5-0.
        16s: revs, 4-1.
didn't see either 16s game, but the revs' difficulty scoring last week, due in part to bolts numbers behind the ball--especially in the 18--was clearly ancient history. Revs had a score to settle and did so convincingly.

        Anyone see the 16s?

Maybe there's a story behind the disintegration of the bolts - typically you got equal teams (as the records show), and would never get such lop-sided results - Is there something with the Bolts that killed their morale today?

I do not know about any morale issues that you seem to be beating the bushes about; however, this Revs group of 18s has lost only one to the Bolts in the last four years. The Revs scored early (and often!) and the Bolt's were not in a position to play with numbers behind the ball like they did last week. They had nothing going on in the final third except a lot of nasty fouling that, while called by the official, was allowed to persist. Bolts should have had 4 yellows. The Revs ate the Bolts' lunch.

closer then the 4-1 score. Revs were far more dangerous up top. The bolts looked a little shoddy with their passing and were a bit unorganized on defence. Revs seem to have more skill players.

                How did the keepers do?

4 and 5 goals scored against Bolts. Wondering how those keepers did.

Its a team game. In the 18s game, the Bolts defenders didn't give their goalie much support, and the Rev's forwards did a very good job of finishing their opportunities. Until the end, I would have given the Bolts' midfield the edge in run of play, but their forwards were no match for the Rev's defenders. The Rev's goals came from counter attacks and through balls.

Boy - a lot of people (well, bolts parents) are being pretty quiet about these games. How is it that teams that seem pretty even end up with a 5:0 result? A team will typically expose itself more when behind, but not to the extent that the score is run up like that. Did the Bolts come out with the wrong strategy and go downhill from there?

One of the big problems with all the non MLS DAP teams is
too many competing agendas within these teams. Who is going
where, Who do I want. Who is being looked at by whom.

Heard there was a conflict with open house at Colby to meet the coach..

C'mon...that is not a conflict. My son visited Colby. He was extremely nice, met with us and showed us around the campus on a day (weekend) that was good for us.

I am all for priorities, however if a player missed the game against the REVs to go to an open house to meet the coach at Colby that points to bigger problems and issues with the Bolts.
