16's could have won both games. In the 2-1 loss both goals were off restarts. In the 2-2 tie, a pk awarded for a hand ball 4 minutes into extra time.
The 18's did not look that good and seemed to have a lot of players injured or just not playing

Looks like FCGB18 still have some players who need starts to make quota. Remember there are only 4 conference games left before divisional play starts. Bolts probably see the in-division games as their best chance at a playoff spot and will focus on them.

In other results, bolts 18s are leading the division in disciplinary points. This is a big reversal of past form, hitherto they have been the least carded side of these - along with the big GA number, suggests to me (not having seen many games this year) they have had problems organizing. Last season defense was good and they had trouble scoring, but the GK and experienced defenders were class of 2011 93s so cannot play this year. If they can settle down in their own end and keep scoring, bolts will do fine in the divisional games...

Both Revs and Bolts back in action this weekend, face Delco and PA Classics. Should be a good test for both sides....

Looks like the Bolts 18s did stop allowing goals - but also stopped scoring. Nil-nil vs Delco (1.83 points per game) dropping their PPG to 1.38. Revs beat Classics (1.58) 3-2 with a late goal to get their PPG to 2.00, first in the division, just ahead of Empire (1.92) who beat Match Fit and are actually five points ahead of NER (having played 3 more games because of the Revs African excursion.

Yesterday's sixteens games not posted yet. Good luck to all!

It's and upset because Revs16 have produced almost double the points per game than have the Classics thus far this season....

Bolts 16's had the game in hand and let up a late goal with poor defending. They should have not given up the tie. They did it their last game as well vs FC Westchester. They need to tighten up their D. Their O isn't scoring that much either.

probably is ok with it. he is mediocrity defined. BA creates scrappy teams that can eek out wins against better talent, if inspired to do so. Everybody who has watched some of the teams with great talent, like Red bulls, knows that U16 and U18 bolts are not those kind of teams. The bolts will do fine in divisional play..

Sorry...I didn't mean to step on your sensitive side. The Revs have been playing far better than that and significantly better than the PA Classics. In fact, the PA Classics parent called it an upset as well.

Just want to know, were you at the game? I was there, so I am curious if you were sitting with me on the sideline?
