    DAP Results

With the DAP season underway, it looks as though both the Revs and the Bolts are off to pretty decent starts. The Revs are away in SA and not faring as well as they would like, and the Bolts have a huge game this weekend against what seems to be a decent Albertson team.

    Any Comments?

    Please keep it positive

no said they were doing great, the OP said they have both had decent starts which hopefully turn into good seasons for both clubs.

I think the Bolts will beat Albertson as I believe the home loss against PA classics for Albertson and Bolts having home field advantage will help.

bolts are 3-2 and 2-2-1, thats a good start? maybe expectations are low better than 0-5 I guess

But look at SouthCentral.. If a club just isn't producing competitive teams, is it getting the boot? They definitely deserve some scrutiny from USSF.. And Seacoast is pretty abysmal as usual.. guess USSF keeps them because of the facility.

I agree, I think clubs that continually year in and year out perform way under par (meaning 2 or 3 wins a year for each age group) should be put under some kind of pressure from the USSF. There are a number of clubs that have really under performed since there inception into the Academy.

I know they have the ratings now which will hopefully show if the club is improving over time and will allow them to make changes.

I am curious to know how South Central got in in the first place. I don't believe it has had one good year since inception.

I think it had something to do with their ties with legendary coach (and current DOC) BD. For all their lack of team success, they do currently have a NT player.

The thread says DAP results. Pre-academy is not DAP. There's another thread on DAP already going. Would this poster start a new thread named Pre-DAP and just copy this info there? I'd do it, but I'm not sure what the etiquette is.

EASTER. Both teams off. They both head to PA next weekend for 2 tough games

The two Bolts teams went 0-3-1 against Albertson and Westchester. Only the U16 team could salvage a tie against the latter NY team. The U18 team lost both with a combined Goal differential of -6.
