It is clearly obvious that the people who visit this talking soccer web site are clearly not dap families. If they were they would be way more interested in todays games between revs and bolts then spending all their energies on the "no high school" topic. This site is for parents of players who are on the outside looking in.
    Btw
    bolts 18's won 1-0
    and the 16's drew 2-2

non-DAP families love it when most of the DAP families look out to see how much playing time they could have, especially after they wind up at the same level of college play as the non-DAP players. One real difference, however, is that the DAP players will have had 'superior training', and 'superior competition', but missed out on the high school experience, however good or bad that is.......it will still be where their friends are watching.

OK....I will grant you that about 6-7 DAP players will be playing Division 1 soccer compared to many more from the non DAP teams.......

I was at both games yesterday at harvard and that was the highest level of soccer i have seen in these parts in quite some time. Both teams were highly skilled in both games and the games were played as soccer is meant to. The speed of play was great and the lack of miscues show that both clubs have trained their players well

say all you want about dap it certainly is a much better product than what i watch out at lancaster with maple or nep

I was at the game and also traveled down to Region 1 semifinal and finals in Deleware. The top teams in Region 1 are just as talented, if not more talented, than both the Bolts and Revs teams.

            Sorry.

Not even close. If this is your actual observation, and you not just trying to bad mouth DAP, then you an idiot.

Different poster. Are you suggesting that the current Bolts DAP are significantly better than the top Bolts teams from 4-5 years ago that dominated MAPLE and played in Region 1?

Saw the matches on saturday at harvard... Like what i saw...if what is said on this forum is true and there is not much difference between these 2 teams and the other good clubs around like mps, nefc and blazers then mass soccer is doing pretty well

i only saw the 16's game and it looked like the revs were trying to send the ball ahead to their 2 speedy forwards. The fc bolts defenders has their hands full. Was not impressed with the revs team overall but i was told that they are much younger the fc bolts.
I will try and attend the rematch next week. I am curious to how both teams will adjust

These are coaching problems. The Revs have some great talent, however, they seem to be lulled into the idea of focusing on two players, both of which are very very good. Instead of building the play they have decided to do what they can to boot the ball up to them.

I guess you get what you pay for. If you pay nothing..........

O.k., so you were down in Delaware as a coach or a parent? If you are a parent of a player who was in Delaware the previous weekend, then your team would have been up in Lancaster on Sat playing in State Cup. So you were watching the DAP games instead, or you were in two places at once.

Attended the u/18 game with a friend. Bolts did well to win,
especially with such a short bench. Revs seemed to have more
chances but lacked quality finishing.I was curious to learn one
of their top strikers was in a defensive role! I am betting that
Revs will change formation for the next meeting of the two.

I am a coach. And yes, I was able to make it to both venues. We do typically travel within a given day when we are interested in particular players.
