Blackhawks u17 looking for a goalie

Blackhawks u17's are looking for a goalie . Due to injury both of our goalies are out for the year. We play and practice at Bridgewater-Raynham high school. Our team is a D1 maple team and will be playing in several upcoming tournaments, any interested players feel free to contact the coach.

I am not trying to be nasty but I hope you realize that your post speaks volumes to the people you are trying to recruit. In soccer the gk is referred to as a keeper and you just told serious ones that you have absolutely no idea what their position is all about. From that serious keeper's point of view you have basically told them the clubs sees them as an after thought. Believe it or not that is a big complaint with keepers who often end up getting no training from their club and a whole lot of grief from people who blame them when things go bad. You might as well just stick a field player in net.

If you aren't trying to be nasty, it comes awfully naturally to you. I'm sure you are a very pleasant person to be around. I'm sure you bring your star keeper daughter to the pitch as well, and she wears boots, not cleats. Get over yourself.

ah, ignorance is bliss. would you join any organization who doesn't respect what you do nor give you nothing in return for your effort? that is a very common complaint with keepers. a lot of clubs give their keepers next nothing in return for paying to be on the team. more than a few coaches treat their keepers like a third wheel and just have thave them stand around all practice while they train the field players. few coaches organize position specific training sessions for them and even less spend much time doing any sort of tactical training with them. usually they are just a walking target for teams to practice their shooting on. parents of keepers learn to spot the clubs who operate like this and avoid them. calling them "goalies" is a clue. if you don't want to know you are making a fool out of yourself that is your option.

Typical parent of a field player. The ball goes through 10 player and this sort of idiot blames the keeper when it ends up in the net.

One of the first things they teach sales people is to understand their customer and sell to their needs. If you want to recruit a gk, I suggest you put a little time into understanding who your customer is and what they want. Your arrogance speaks volumes.

why don't they just advertise for any stiff with decent hands who is willing to come out and stand in a net a couple of times over the next couple of months. no experience necessary. on the job training provided. that is what they are really looking for.

                          cut the guy some slack

Geez, what a bunch of lousy characters. The guy is looking for a goalie, what's the problem? With a couple of weeks left for regular season and tournaments around the corner, hustling in need of a goalie should not lead to a berating opportunity by the clown parade. Losing two goalies so close to season is pure bad luck. I wish you well and I hope you find one.
