Just noticed that there is no G U14 girls team in Maple this spring. Have they realized the competition is all in NEP....or is there no longer a team?

Does this have an effect come state cup in the u15 year? Will they have to enter nep or be dropped to bottom division of maple to be in a qualifying league?

Also leaves a good partof the season with no league play. R1 and state cup and friendlies I guess?

NERL (subregional) would also be an option. They already augment their schedule with friendlies with ECNL teams.

The question was about State Cup qualifying league for U15, not U14. They could play NERL at U15 if they don't qualify for R1PL next year.

R1P and NERP are both qualifying leagues for State Cup.

The long time coach of the U14 girls team is officially not their coach anymore. They now have Kevon Isa who is the Asst. coach of the AIC Women's soccer team and also an ODP coach.

The U13s also list a second coach. This team has been religated to div. 2 this spring after a bad fall in which they lost many games by 1 goal. Despite this, they are still in the state cup round robin. They also won their bracket for Scorpion Bowl. Granted, they were in the second tier, but they scored 9 goals for and 0 against to make the finals. They couldn't score all fall. Then, they won the championship in PKs (I heard it went 7 rounds and the Pios put all shots on frame). What's up with this team? Is VG making the differnece?

My daughter's team played the U13 Pioneers at Scorpion Bowl. I don't know why they had a bad fall season, because against us, they played well as a team. They passed really well, talked, and had good players in all areas of the field. Thier center mid was amazing. She scored a goal by taking a ball out of the air, and almost scored on a header. I saw some of their Sunday game too, and I think she scored two goals for them in that game. We play in another league but I heard a Pioneer parent saying she was new to the team.
