He lucked out
The Terry situation is going to put England, who is not very good, in a tough situation. They will put some English coach in charge who has no tactical clue of the continent. And England will be ambarassed in the Euro, again.
Regardless, no sympathies here, English game and fans are the most arrogant in the world.
Let the beer pour and the wife beatings begin!

from The Telegraph:
"The Tottenham Hotspur manager began the day facing a possible prison sentence for tax evasion. He ended it as the odds-on favourite to become England manager, the overwhelming public choice for a post that became suddenly vacant less than eight hours after Redknapp had heard his fate in Southwark Crown Court."
Dramatic day, even by British standards.

England are not very good?
English coach in charge who has no tactical clue?
English game and fans most "arrogant" in the world?
Let's put this in perspective....... You are most likely American so when your own country wins a world cup then come back and rephrase the first point!
And English fans are the most arrogant in the world.... this is coming from the bunch of idiots (and most likely you are in the top three of them) who thinks their child is the best player in world and will play pro!
Stop talking absolute nonsense and get off this site, get a job or if you are that stupid you cant get one...... spend your time to learn more about football so you can stop making a tit of yourself with idiotic comments above!

Capello out because of the decision to strip John Terry of the Captaincy. Capello tells the FA to take their political correctness and shove it.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNo, it isn't. What do you think goes on in a soccer match? Pip pip and cheerio? These guys are calling each other a variety of expletives with regularity. FIFA rules state they are suppose to be carded for swearing, but the officials don't because if they did, there wouldn't be enough players to play the game. I'll wager you that there are some racist comments from the black guys to the white guys too, "Break yo self cracker!" but nothing is made of it. Remember the old saying "Sticks and stones"? No, this is political correctness and in these cases it's being used to gain advantage over another player. Not any different than the player who takes a dive in the box.
In the PC world of the FA you can't say no no words to a player in the heat of sports battle. That is wrong, but it's very likely Capello will be replaced by Harry Redknapp who has been arrested for fraud, tax evasion, and allegded corruption concerning both soccer and horse racing. That's OK with the FA.
