I think we should change the name of the league to EPNL - Elite Parent National League. It's laughable and sad (more like pathetic) that every time there is a meniton on this board of a club, tournament, or team that is not part of the EPNL (Stars and Scorps), there is an instant response by the Elite Parents to put down and marginalize the post(er). Maybe all of the parents in the EPNL can get together and have an elitist cocktail party? They can discuss how talented their kids are (talented in this case is usually translated as 'a nano-moment from being burned out on soccer) and how elite their soccer league is. They can pat each other on the backs and look down and laugh at the little people. "HAHA to you, you meaningless little soccer player!!No hope fo you!! Your soccer experience is worhtless!!!" But as time goes on, Little Mia grows up and either burns out on soccer or graduates from college. At that point, what will the EP's do? I fear for them as they will no longer be able to vicariously live through their daughter's participation in the elitist league. But all will be well. They will get on Facebook and find eachother and start the EPSG - Elite Parent Support Group. From there, they will scoff at all other support groups that exist. "Our support group is elite! You people in other support groups shouldn't waste your time. There is only one true path to enlightenment and that is through the Elite Parents Support Group!!!!! And we will not let you in!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHhahahhahahah......."
NO, the could come in with 100% new roster and compete in state cup. Just the seeding would come into play.
true, they would have to bang it out through the preliminary rounds like a new team. ceeding will be interesting and tell how much juice the stars have. would sure hate to see a new team placed up near the top. but don't put it past the slimeballs to try and set it up that way. they will do anything.

The tool is actually a keyboard not the part of anatomy you see to favor and that poster used it quite well to describe the prevalent attitude inside the Stars club. Look in the mirror and smile at yourself but know that as you walk amongst your peers everyone is thinking that you are actually the pud.

To demonstrate continuity of roster, a minimum of 30% of the players from the team's previous year's State Cup roster (that is on file with Mass Youth Soccer) must be on the team's current State Cup roster. I think the u15 athletic team can handle that, and keep that seed.

I am well aware of the context I used "tool" in and it had nothing to do with a keyboard. Thanks.

you are a loser. when my kid does graduate what we won't have is big bills because we got a great deal by developing at/being exposed by a great club. so nice to generalize about all the ecnl folks though.

What you ECNL idiots dont understand is that good players recruit themselves. You're driving down to the so called promise land because you're afraid you won't be noticed. What do they do before the league? We all laugh not because we envy you but because we understand the system. Jillian Ellis was asked if the girls side would move to an academy? Her answer was, "why? Let the clubs figure out the best path for themselves and we will be there to recruit". The problem with you parents is you don't want to pave your own way you just want to follow the masses. Hence the constant use of kool aide on this subject. You're not being developed just showcased!
Since both ECNL teams are not eligible for State Cup, what's the issue? Stars Athletic is by far the strongest team of those eligible. Are you suggesting that the Scorps Premier roster is some how going to challenge anyone in State Cup?
Is stars athletic eligible since the squad contains players from last years united team and several from other clubs that played in state cup? Perhaps they don't get an automatic bid into round robin?

If your talking 15's, the answer is yes because they have at least 30% from last years roster.

You're a moron. Of course they are eligible. One need only show 30% continuity from the previous year's roster to retain seeding.

Of course, as a scholarshiped athlete, he/she won't have an education either. But at least it didn't cost a lot.
I go on TS a small fraction of what I used to. Thank you for reminding me why. So called adults can't agree to disagree or a real space cadet just can't be ignored. Idiot, moron etc.. need to be used with great frequency. I could go on and on with the infantile banter of my kids club is great and your kids club sucks, but that would hardly be original material for TS. Its all just dissapointing. Yes, I know I don't have to post on or read this thread, don't worry I won't be.
