We are NEFC BB. We can't have a 4-2-2 record at any level. We need to Win! Win! Win! We predict the season in maple to be 8-0-0 and 205 goals for and maybe 1 against!!
Are you kidding me, this is an absolute travesty to the girls on that team. You had a very competitive season in U13 NEP and girls were challenged and you go to Maple to do what? Win a championship. Oh that's right, you want to dominate and be a nationally ranked team again.
That is the reason soccer in America is flawed and will never get better with guys like BB who continually pick their ego over the girls. We will give you the championship now, you don't even have to play any games. LL isn't going to be very happy that he won't be able to put on select's website that he won the spring blue division. I bet LL plays in U13 Maple division because he is afraid of BB's team and losing 7-0.Comment

So why wouldn't he move the team to GU13 at MAPLE? They didn't even play at their age group in Maple last spring and qualified for Irwin Cup playing up. The only reason they would be playing at their age group this spring is to go for the title.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post

You are right!! Probably afraid of the stars team. Who cares though. I would want to play the best. It's a shame and the girls lose out. They will run over every team. That's why maple league can't be taken seriously. So the teams that were in blue will get kicked out into the green division because two NEFC teams make the move to maple. Very unfair for teams who earned their spot in the fall.
By the way who is FC Boston Azzurri. Is this what BB wants to play and beat 15-0? Thought BB was a pretty good coach but he is just another guy who doesn't care about the kids development but just winning championships. Why don't you play town, you will beat every team by 20!!Comment

He probably wants to limit the exposure of his team to the Stars. Several of his players in odp would certainly be attractive to the Stars and they've already shown a willingness to travel to Lancaster.Comment

Many of BB's parents were not happy with their kids getting beat up playing U13. It had nothing to do with winning or losing. This is a small team and add in the puberty factor, the difference between most U12 girls vs. most U13 girls is night and day. BB let the parents vote on this decision so stop bashing the guy. Overall this decision is better for the development of the girls on this team. Many of the girls were struggling playing up and were barely touching the ball.Comment

Smart decision. My daughter played up at u14 when she was only u11 because that was her club option at hand. She basically did not develop much and was not enjoying it as much as she was always more concerned of not loosing the physical aspect during 1 on 1 play. She was small so this complicated it a bit. When she would make great moves she knew she would pay the price. Often she took the payback in a physical blow.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post

Technically BB team needs to be placed in the lowest division of Maple this year due to not playing in the fall. It would not be fair to the teams that stayed and played for spots in the Blue division this spring. He will still not play his bottom 5 as much in Maple because he will want to win. He has basiclly wasted 2 years of players development.Comment
