So your back trying over and over to make some self serving point. Are you a former parent? Are you a former coach in the club? Are you a coach from a competing club? What ever it is you should be happy that you are so much smarter than everyone else and not on this team and move on. I don't think this is the former coach issue. Your agenda is more directed to this one scorps team in perticular. Scorps families like the club and like KC and your slander won't change that for us any way.

Actually the guy that was into bashing KC seems to have gone quiet. I don't recall any rants all this past fall.

He's finally got a team that will guarantee players won't leave him. Key players left his former team over the years, key players left this U16 team, but the U17 team may be KC proof.

The problem is not with MA supporting two teams in ECNL as it could probably support three. The issue is the ECNL chose Scorpions mostly based on it being a small club with a small catchment area and therefore not really competitive with Stars on recruiting talent. corpions have some very good teams, but also have a history of teams imploding. Better choice would have been MPS or NEFC where the talent would have moved to but those clubs compete directly with Stars in catchment area and were considered a threat to Stars if either had the cachet of being in the ECNL.

Fiction, National Team exposure with the top team at 14, then 15, then 16 in Nationals..

NEFC, MPS just did not have the exposure, and they also overlapped Stars territory.

JD is on selection committee for ECNL my guess is if Scorpions were to drop out, they would NOT be replaced by another club period.

If Scorpions get dropped because they cannot field a team or due to lack of performance, Massachusetts would get another club for certain.

The ECNL regional concept doesn't work if they don't have local competition. They can't exist solely as a national league, the teams need local opponents.

if scorps dropped and there was a need for another area team, wouldn't it make more sense to go north to aztecs, seacoast, etc? realistically, to be competitive at the top of the ecnl a division takes a lot of talent. mass would likely be better served with only a single team so as not to dilute the talent anyway

A team that wanted to play in the ECNL could do what many others have done. Agreed to move under the banner of the Scorpions. The only thing stopping that is all the bad blood FM has garnered over the years with neighboring clubs.
