How long can a new coach survive with a record like that - the games are close, but boy the record is a dramatic drop from the Kerr years ... think Junot will make it to next year?

Harvard's 0-4 against Ivy League teams. Pretty disappointing.

Why is SNHU so good? I have been watching this team since Branco transferred there from UCONN. Gas this program always been good ?

Because they recruit a ton of kids and get every really good kid out there who doesn't academically qualify for traditional and traditional elite schools. Soccer warehouse. One of the biggest beneficiaries of the failure in DAP system.

There is a perfect place for kids who don't academically qualify and/or aren't quite good enough for D1, and for kids who don't academically qualify and/or are a little too good for the more reputable D3s......it's called D2.

                  answer?

Why would you expect any team to play well if they have changed the head coach three times in a 5 year span. Kerr Jr went to Duke about 3 years ago. Junot is Harvards second coach since then. I don't know many teams that will be successful with these many coaching changes in a short span of time. If however, you felt that Kerr Jr was the best of the best with regard to coaching, then please explain to me how Duke is doing as badly as they are doing. Since being in North Carolina, Duke has had a steady decline.

Wait....I have an answer for both Harvard and Duke!! Maybe it takes a few years for a coach to build his/her program. If they are intelligent, they would sign 5 year deals. Clearly, one can tell how successful a coach is within that time period.

A lot of college coaches just plain stink! They are poor games managers and poor trainers.

Maybe they did and will keep Junot around - any predictions? I'd like to see the guy get a chance, but wonder how he's gonna recruit with a record like that. Seems like things can only go from bad to worse.

He has an uphill battle....all he can do is sell Harvard and the player's future. The Ivy league schools do not offer athletic scholarships....and they do require the player to pass classes.....

Harvard and princeton are fantastic deals, if parents income is less than $60K the kids go for $0.00 if above that 10% of income.....not bad....football teams are doing a lot better in Ivy leagues because there is no fear of lost scholarships....

The bigger DI soccer programs have about 9 different athletic scholarships that they offer. What percentage of kids playing soccer at Harvard are from families making < 60K? More to the point, how many Harvard soccer players would Harvard let attend the school for free? I don't believe that Carl Junot has the ability to enroll 20+ players for free, so there must be a limit. In addition, there has to be some belief that all players attending Harvard would be able to perform academically as well as athletically.
