You sir/madam are an ignorant ass.
Are you actually suggesting that none of these injuries are preventable by being fit coming into preseason????

The poster you are responding to is a troll. Just ignore them.

Actually, no. I believe Salem has several local club players as does Peabody. And some of the players being "beating on" were not club players. Listening to some of the comments from Salem parents was very interesting though: "How to play the body!" was a common one. Clueless. Thug soccer at its finest.

How can you people make all these stupid comments? Not every hs coach gives their team a summer work sheet. That is what the person was commenting on. The poster stated that their coach thinks the summer league and working out one day a week is enough to be fit for the season. Maybe you all should get a tutor.

I find the same thing. Refs seem to call fouls arbitrarily and they don't see the nasty pushes going on during corners. The more aggressive, bordering on dirty, players on my daughter's team are club players or former club players.

The stupid comments were made repeatedly by this poster (who is probably you) in response to summer fitness as a way to avoid injury. And they were mighty stupid comments. Troll Alert.

OK, fit athletes are less likely to get injured. There is tons of research to support this, and some is even posted on this thread.

Anyone who says staying fit in the summer won't help you avoid injury in the fall is wrong. They are also full of crap.
