No, not crazy just a little unrealistic about what competition is all about.

Crazy by reasonable standards, sure.......but by NEP standards, they are the norm. You can't bring all the "worst offender" clubs into a league like the NEP and expect the parents to change. You knew it was coming. It's a shame, really, that the crazy parents will ruin the whole program for the regular parents. As usual it's the vocal minority that upsets the apple cart.

Don't panic. I think this is fairly isolated. The NEP has not been overrun by lunatics. Everywhere else seemed just fine. As long as the New Bedford mom and pop clubs don't join, I think we'll be OK.

Too late, PM has already brought them here with his "NEFC" squads. In many respects he combines the worst of both worlds.

Naw, when they moved next door to Dartmouth they exchanged their knives for PM's snake oil. They really think they are part of the NEFC "family" now, PM's promised big things.

                OMG...am I reading this correctly...

When NEFC played this player last year (when she played for SSS) they complained bitterly about her physical and dangerous style of play. Now that she's on their team, she is an innicent victim.

Contradictions not withstanding...Here's hoping she has a speedy and complete recovery.

Yes, and then moves to NH so we can all complain about Seacoast for a change!

Let's hope they haven't latched onto the Scops as "the enemy" or something. Those people can be very dangerous when they get one of their territorial rivalry things going!

However the largest offence came when some parent yeld "thats what she gets " disgusting ! West please reign in this parent before you are all condemned by association !
Did you ever hear of spell check? Your rambling and awful spelling make you sound like an uneducated dolt.

Different poster and not from either team. Actually s/he does a great job in describing the chain of event. Who cares if the spelling is off. You sound like a snob saying that. Perhaps an "educated" snob, but a snob nonetheless.

Different poster here, but I think you are criticizing something that actually brings up a good point.

All things being equal, punctuation and spellcheck are a good idea. If you just want to "preach to the choir" then text message style stream of consciousness is fine. Chances are you agreed with the OP and had no trouble taking that post seriously.

But if what you really want to do is get people with a different POV to take a new look at a situation, then you don't need them questioning your maturity or intelligence. The post you are criticizing came no doubt from someone who disagreed with the OP's take on the situation, and found it easy to dismiss because it was so poorly written.

If you are going to bother to post, why set yourself up to look too young or poorly educated to be taken seriously? You don't have to be perfect, but you should at least try to get it in the ballpark.

it would be great if everyone could write well. but if you follow what is happening with our public education system they will tell you that is a problem in this country. it is part of the reason we have standards testing. regardless of spelling the poster was able to convey their meaning. that is all that matters. what the other poster responded with speaks volumes about their personality and their ability to formulate ideas. if spelling is all they can see then you can imagine that they have a pretty narrow view of the world.

You sound like a HS drop out. I think I'll ignore you.

Agreed! Getting close to time to cut the cord?
