what is worth knowing, and harder to follow, is how many will earn time, how many will play four years, how many will make meaningful contributions to the College teams play.
Historically, this has been an extremely small percentage of players from a year (2012 in this case) player pool in Mass.
I will say I am impressed by the number of players listed, and the quality of the ones I have seen..
What is harder to judge is how they will fair over time in the extremely competitive world of collegiate soccer. as stated, Mass is not usually well represented.
and when you think about how these players would stack up against "world" players not just US (or primarily US I guess in college play), it really shows how far behind we are.Comment

On the thread "Is there a list? Class of 2013" down below, one poster looks at BU/BC boys and sees that only 5 of 15 remain on the rosters as Soph/Jun Seniors, and of those 5, only a couple are still playing. So regarding the much discussed EMass All-American designees, the player at UPenn from Concord-Carlisle does not appear on the roster, and the other player from Canton is having a very strong frosh season at D3 WPI.Comment
