Which colleges are sending scouts to these u11 girls NEP games? with the tightness of the top 4 I bet the big div 1 colleges are already looking for the young talent.

You think your sarcasm makes you funny but it just demonstrates what a complete loser you are. Get a life! These are 10 and 11 year old girls playing soccer because they love the sport and the friendly competition among each other every weekend. At this age they’re likely not chasing some ridiculous and lost dream of yours to have your child recruited by a div 1 college. Get some perspective in your life and let the children be children and just have fun. Who knows, they might play for a div 1 school later on or better yet go on to achieve something great in life off the soccer field because the they learned at a young age that through hard work and effort they can produce results. Something I suspect you have failed to ever achieve.

Development over winning... U11 power thread??? If a club is developing good players and they are having fun with friends, then it is a good club.

The rest is just crazy talk...

that wasnt sarcasm...it just seemed like a funnier way to say get a life. Come on a tread on "who's going to win in a u11 division." talk about needing to get a life! Although I'm impressed you didnt think it was a serious post.

i dont have kids that will play division 1--may not even play in high school. just get a laugh out of all these threads about who is winning at these young ages. Its ridiculous. If you knew me you would know I say nothing at games, never talk to the coaches about what i think they should be donig, and let my kids play soccer with their friends. my kids play because the love the game--we like them to play so they learn the valuable life lessons that you get from playing organized sports.

Too many people take the results of youth sports way to seriously, and fail to recognize how ridiculous they are being. I will never be in that catagory.

                  Balance

We're sports fans. We talk about our favorite sport teams at the water cooler. We root for them to win, but we don't slit our wrists when they don't. Youth soccer parents have a much larger vested interest in their child's team then one does the Red Sox or the Patriots. Why not enjoy following, analyzing, predicting the results? Of course the result doesn't really matter. It is the best entertainment out there! I have met 10 well balanced parents for every yahoo. Get lost trolls. Leave us positive sports fans alone.

really? because i let the coaches do their jobs, and let the kids play the game without interfering I am delusional. Do you think screaming on the sideline is helpful to the players? Do you think parents telling coaches how to do their jobs is helpful in any way? Do you think that behaviour provides any long term benefit to your kids? I let the kids play, chat with the parents who share my philosophy of not interfering with the game and enjoy an hour or two of soccer.
Looks like you definitely need to get a life. You are getting all worke dup over u11 soccer, and parents who chose not to act like nuts on the sideline.

WOW - I am leaning towards self righteous jerk at this point. No one condones or mentioned any of those qualities that you have said you don't participate in - thou dost protest too much - you are probably the loudest one there. Tell me all knowing one what is appropriate to post about soccer and at what age - as if I care what you think anyway. - JERK GO U11 girls and keep up the GREAT play. BOO HOO he said great you can't say great for youth soccer

Post was kind of funny. Why not laugh a little? THere is a lot going on in the world that is far more serious and important that youth sports. Take a deep breath and consider laughing instead of getting all worked up. Poster said nothing about the kids. It appears poster was poking fun at the adults.
