Dear Parents:

A number of students and staff in our school are sick with an intestinal virus. The primary symptoms are upset stomach, vomiting and for some, low-grade fever. Health Services is working to alleviate symptom for sick students and more importantly to help prevent more illness. At this time, it appears that the cause of the illness is a fast-moving virus, that is not food related. Symptoms appear to clear up within 8 hours. Given that the majority of our students are not presenting with any symptoms, we are going to proceed with our normal academic and athletic schedule. The exception to that schedule is that we are cancelling today’s games in order to avoid infecting other schools. In an effort to keep the virus from spreading throughout our campus, we are asking for everyone’s cooperation in following the advice given to us by Health Services

Who knows?

My guess it that they will get in. Groton should prevail against St. Marks.
Their opponent had their game cancelled today because of illness. Not sure what St Marks will be like on Saturday.

Just an opinion but probably gets them in as an 8 seed but they can improve to a 6 with a win v St. Marks.

Governors won 2 nil today. Currently in 4th place in ISL. 2nd in ISL B class. Think Groton could push them to 3rd but lost head to head and had weaker schedule. Not making it easy for the committee.

Governors won 2 nil today. Currently in 4th place in ISL. 2nd in ISL B class. Think Groton could push them to 3rd but lost head to head and had weaker schedule. Not making it easy for the committee.

While the GOVS are technically in 4th place, they will end up in 6th place if Brooks beats St Pauls and Groton beats St Marks in Saturday.

That said, the GOVS with a solid 7-4-1 ISL record will get in and not be seeded 7th or 8th in my opinion.

Finishing their season today will cause some anxiety. Will they continue to train or take a few days off??
