Well played game. Very evenly matched with chances on both ends. No score at the half. Rivers scored with 13 minutes left on a midfield rotation. Govs responded with a header off a corner kick to get the equalizer with 3:30 on the clock. 2 - 10 minute OT's with no score. Govs won on PK's 5-4 with 7 shooters. Don't try to make it sound lucky. They both played very well and both were deserving of advancement.

Explain please. What is lucky about scoring late in the game? It is simply a fact no luck noted or implied.

Worcester advances to NEPSAC finals on PKs. Great game played by both teams.

This was a very well played game by both teams. Some real talent exhibited today and yet no one, if you go by this forum, even knows these kids exists. Any college coaches out there ought to have watched these teams play. I'd wager better soccer played in this game than many D1 games. At least based on what I've seen lately. Any college coaches looking for a fantastic defender ought to check out #16 on Exeter. And no, I'm not related. The kid is from the West coast. Real quality player among many quality players.

Those aren't sighs of relief. They're giggles of excitement over drawing hapless Berkshire followed by the Govs-Pomfret winner. They'll easily devour this low hanging fruit, resting and tuning for the finals. Rivers run wild!

Gotta admit I was slightly mistaken. Rivers did devour Berkshire, to only then.suffer a rotten fruit hangover for their gluttony. Next year we'll pace the feasting and save a few morsels for the later rounds. Good luck to Gov's!

Yes a well played game. Have no idea what you mean by a midfield rotation, off a free kick the ball got knocked around and a forward put the ball in the goal. The score by Governors was off a freekick awarded in the corner. Rivers dominated the game in possession, shots and corners and had by far more real scoring opportunities, but did not finish many. The Governors keeper made several spectacular saves, particulary as time wound down in the second overtime. Governors finished and won and good luck to them today.
