    I don't agree with this statement unless the player's behavior is similar to the parents. If the player is not like the parent then you are punishing the child for the parents action which is wrong.

      It would suck for the kid but sometimes that is the only way a parent learns the lesson.

        I dont agree woth you. There's no sense in making 17 sets of other parents miserable or embarrassed for the one player. Sometimes these blockheads need that.

        If a couple of discussions with the coach/DOC don't correct the problem then the family needs to move one or else the other 17 will.

          If only it were so simple as thinking people will move on if the offending parent isn't removed. Kids don't want to leave teammates and friends. Parents may not have other convenient choices in terms of location. Most of all, if the team is one of the "best," people are really reluctant to leave. Let's not also forget that problem parents exist in town/travel soccer. There is no place to go in those situations.

            Exactly. You have to remember some clubs get a bad name because they don't deal with these types of parents. Then again some of the coaches foster that type of environment. Where was this game at?
