no brainer
It will be Minnechaug and everyone else. If Minnechaug does not win, then give the coach a drug test. This team has its own town development which is the best in Western mass, but it also boasts excellent talent from neighboring towns. Its numbers are unequaled and its development is unequaled as it has many players in premier clubs.
Other teams to consider for second: Agawam, East Longmeadow, and ludlow, whose youth is now a a feeder for Wilbraham-Monson and Minnechaug too.
Bottom dwellers: West Side and Cathedral

2009 Semi-Finalists: Minnechaug, Ludlow, Agawam, Pittsfield
Predictions for 2011:Minnechaug, Pittsfield, East Longmeadow and Agawam
Ludlow has the talent but no coaching. Comp lost too much in last year's senior class.

Doesn't matter because the top teams in Western MA are not in D1 but in D1 it will be East Longmeadow, Minnechaug, Agawam, and Pittsfield. Ludlow and Chicopee High will also be right there.

East Longmeadow had 11 premier starters and more on the bench. Agawam had maybe three or four. The difference was night and day between skill and tactical awareness. I believe Agawam is young too. But it clearly indicates just how important club soccer is to the finished product and winning the big games.
