As an Algonquin supporter I seriously hope this wasn't an Algonquin post, but I'm assuming it was. The game was certainly heated, and if I saw correctly one Algonquin player ended up with a deep gash over his eye from an elbow. That being said the Algonquin boys did more than there fair share of yapping as well. Would have liked to see more control from the referees. Calls were inconsistent both ways and cards should have been dealt out quicker and earlier to stop the taunting and complaining on both sides. It's really a shame the match was ugly because in reality these are probably the best two teams in MID WACH A so the competition was certainly fierce, though I would have preferred a cleaner match.

Nah it was from a North Middlesex player. Agreed on the part about the reffing, but it's high school so can't expect much better. Trash talking is just as much of the game as anything else.

Officiating is absolutely horrendous especially way up north. Time for a new system to be put in place.

Yeah, I've got a hard copy which says "The Crusaders lost, 2-1, to Marlboro High on Tuesday, with the starting 11 getting the day off." And now its gone. Weird that they edited it out, and weirder yet why the coach would sit his first string against a league rival. I wasn't there so I don't know what happened.

NM what happen to that Dynamite midfield tonight vs Gonk ?? Down 3-0 before Gonk put in the bench. Think before you speak the only thing dynamite is the insert foot in mouth you should be doing go back to playing Tynsboro, Maynard ( twice ), Oakmont etc .. Play a real non conference schedule rather than smaller schools. Only reason your in districts cause your losing record in Mid WACH A isn't getting you there with that awesome midfield !!

I just looked at NM schedule online with T&G. They do play a very weak non conference schedule and they are in 4th place in their mid Wach conference.

It was 3-2 fairly late and both benches were used liberally. Field was a mess. No footing at all which detracts from the possession machine. Algonquin is very good but they were kicking it to the corners to create chances. Nobody could have held the ball on that field (though NM did for 15 passes at a time here and there...). Algonquin is clearly very talented but I don't see them running the state table.

Up North here we generally don't punch people, require trauma units for serious injuries, and retain police escort for parents. We'll have to keep that in mind next time Algonquin visits. Maybe we can get "Big John" from the UFC league to ref for us or perhaps Micky Ward or his brother Dickie.

2. North - need to organize better I believe over confidence is setting in
3. Marlboro - peaking at right time 4 wins in a row
4. Milford - have best all around player in their league
5. Shrewsbury - good young team
6. Wachusett - struggling it seems last 2 games
7. N.Middlesex - went online like previous poster said and verified weak non conference schedule
8. South - 0-1 since they started playing actual teams
9. Nashoba - need to get act together quick
10. Toss up between SH and Tantasqua lack of quality opponents hurt both

Had to have been retracted because top players actually played in the game just didn't start !! Quote said that none played which was a blatant lie by GD coach. Top players did play more than 1/2 the game they just didn't start!!

Yeah, I heard there was a lot of drama about the yellow hair at GD. Snape tried to put an end to it, but the Slithering boys did it anyway.

Do you know that Mr Nipmuc or are you just speculating? Stick to the facts. Several important ones to note:
1) Nipmuc is 8-6 (6 losses??)
2) Tyngsboro, your D3 pick, has 3 losses and a tie and is third in MidWach C
3) Bromfield owns MidWach C as always with only 1 loss (you know who beat them)

See you in Nov, as long as you don't lose your last three and miss the playoffs altogether.
