Who didn't get penalized? Algonquin, who started both incidents but the other 2 teams (Marlboro and Leominster) do get penalized. Do the math. Not hard to figure out. Algonquin is far from the perfect darling you make them out to be.
First things first I'm not sure which game you were watching but both PK's seemed pretty legitimate to me. A foul is a foul whether it's in the box or not. Just because it might not be a studs up slide tackle from behind doesn't mean its not a pk. Additionally high school refs are notoriously bad FOR EACH TEAM. Go to more than one Algonquin game and you might notice they recieve their fair share of bad calls as well. Second how does trash talking warrant a punch in the face? Both teams were trash-talking so to say that Algonquin started it is very naive. There was no instigator both teams were trash talking thats part of the game, and that is only in the case of the Marlboro game. Are you trying to say that Algonquin should get red carded for trash talking and the Marlboro player who lost his head and punched someone in the face should go off scott free because "HE STARTED IT". In the Leominster game the player punched said NOTHING to the puncher.
In the end Algonquin has the titles and that's why they get ridiculed. Another flaw to your post is that Algonquin got the calls in the AB game because the refs were from Central Mass. However aren't Leominster and Marlboro also from central mass yet they never get any calls. Are you close-minded enough to think Central Mass high school soccer is high stakes enough that it is tainted with conspiracy? Your final flaw is that the incidents involved Algonquin central defenders. The Marlboro incident involved an Algonquin striker and the Leominster incident involved an Algonquin striker. Grow up, get your facts straight, stop crying, and try and field a team that can stop Algonquin.

Once again, incorrect. The Marlboro incident involved an Algonquin defender saying somnething to a Marlboro attacker. The Leominster game incident started when an Algonquin central defender was talking a ton of trash behind the man in the middle's back. The linesman who saw it all and could have told the central official said not a word and you know it. What happened at the end of that game was all on Leominster. But it all started way before then.

I never mentioned Leominster or Marlboro not getting any calls. Re-read the post.

FYI - No one was sick the bus did not show up - you are pathetic!!!

Bromfield has the best state cup performance of any CMass team in recent years. As their rival, I have only good things to say about their program. Algonquin is an entirely different matter, and I agree with most of what the posters here say.

Very good point!! Nobody bad mouths Bromfield program or the players. Makes me think it's an Algonquin problem when issues arise on the field or off the field. No other program has had police as much involved as Algonquin also. Very strange

Sticks and stones. You throw punches, you lose. You win trophies, you win. The punch throwers need to settle down and just win. Winning is always the best revenge. Trash talk on the field should be shut down by the refs. It should also be reported, very publicly, to the coach and head of school.

You're so wrong it's embarassing. The Marlboro incident involved ME an Algonquin back-up striker who was punched in the face.

GD(12-0-0) plays Dracut, a good EMass team tomorrow. Only team left on their schedule that might give them a game.

If you're talking about ME, there's no doubt in my mind having seen him in action that he started any problems. If it's JK, he was a good kid.

The tenor of this discussion has lapsed into territory eerily similar to the u14 girls thread, which is a shame. No illusions, just disappointment.
                      PS North wins it all!

Let's see. In addition to the admittedly strong Dracut team, they also have Chelmsford (at least as many FC Stars and other club players as GD), Marlborough (who can beat anyone on the right day) and North Middlesex (which took Algonquin to the wire and has hardly been outpossessed on the field all year).

While I've said on this post before that I think G-D is the best team in the district, all classes, we still need to play the games.

Where are the Yankees and Phillies and Red Sox right now.

Dangerous thinking. The bigger they are...

Oh very well. I'm just worried about Dracut, and not sure what's up with NP, their star. Nothing in the stat sheets the last 2 games about him. Better talking about this than listening to all the Algonquin drama. Maybe we should start our own CMass boys non Algonquin thread.

                              Let's see:
Kids punching kids on a soccer field (hockey/UFC?)
Trash talking that incited the above
Parents being given police escort off the field in multiple games(common thread?)
                              Algonquin coach bashing by parents
Algonquin coach bashing Ludlow after a bitter loss

Where's the soccer? Plenty of drama though.

You forgot the compelling saga of the Algonquin / Wachusett bus-gate event.
