Why so bitter? I have not seen one post complaining about the Gonk red card or any card received. Some of the Gonk haters on this post are really pathetic.

Didn't see the game, but am always astonished at how poorly the scores reflect the games in soccer. Watched a HS game yesterday where one team totally dominated, with about 30 promising shots on goal. But it was one of those days where nothing went in. About 10 shots hit the bar, the opposing teams keeper was having a great day, and they even missed a PK. They won 1-0, but that score tells you nothing about the game. That is what the best teams are about. Even when they have a really bad day, they still squeak by and win.(true of all sports, including professional)

So what's new?????? - quality's even worse in Cmass than previous years. Only to be expected. Hopefully the lack of competition won't harm the team when it goes outside the league, as it usually seems to do. At least Ludlow seems to be weaker this year, which gives them a chance to advance beyond districts.

How is Ludlow weaker this year? They haven't lost yet, and have only had a few goals scored on them all season. Last year, they were third in their league and were taken to PKs in the semifinals and finals of WMass championships.

They may very well have lost that scrimmage (2-0, IIRC?), but they carry 34 players and it may take them a while to figure out combinations that work for them.
