Ok - one DAP kid was an NEFC kid was a Puma kid, so he was probably quality on all, wouldn't you say? One played Eagles (NEFC), Puma, Blazers, now DAP, probably quality on all teams, right? I'm not saying Algonquin's going to win it all this year. The team just has a critical mass of terrific senior club players right now, so I think if they don't win States this time, they don't have much of a chance for a while. The coach will not have this level of talent en masse for a long time.

By the way, a bunch of former Puma players are now playing DAP (I'm sure that goes for other teams too), so I don't know how you personally judge quality. From my perspective, it says these players are good.

I agree, GD had 3 div 1 college players in 2009 and they couldn't get out of the semi's in div 2 that year. It is the team not a few outstanding players when the best teams meet in Nov.

Actually GD had 2 div 1 and 1 div 3, but I agree with your point. 4 of the 6 starters on that front line were Freshman/Sophomores that year, so they didn't have enough upperclassmen forward that year to consistently score. The problem for teams this year is those 4 players are now juniors/seniors and they DO have 12-13 good upperclassmen playing or available to play who beat Marlboro 3-1 for the first time ever at the hated Kelleher field.
