Re: ISL - Boys - 2008
I suspect most of the posters on this site interested in the ISL Boys already know about this web site, but if not, go to: http://islboyssoccer.sps.edu/
This site has been maintained by the St Pauls coach, Ian Torney, for the past 10 years or so. He does a great job organizing it and the ISL coaches all support it.
Tomorrow has a whole slate of outside league games. My predictions in parentheses
Lawrence at Proctor Academy (tie)
Phillips Exeter at St. Paul's (St Pauls by two)
Brooks at Phillips Andover (Brooks by one)
St. Mark's at Pomfret (St Marks by one)Thayer at Worcester (Worcester by two)
Tabor at St. George's (tie)Bridgton Academy at Milton (Bridgton by 3)
Belmont Hill at Choate (Belmont Hill by 1)
Middlesex at Kimball Union Academy (Kimball Union by 1)

Re: ISL - Boys - 2008
Interesting prediction re: Brooks and Andover game.
Andover beat Nobles by one, SPS by two in their games last week.
Andover has seven returning senior starters and four pgs (all of whom I am told are starting and one of whom was New Hampshire's player of the year).
Saw one of their games, technically they are very good.
If Brooks wins against this team it bodes well for their entire season.

Re: ISL - Boys - 2008
I agree it will be very interesting.
I think it will come down to PA's defense playing well enough to hold off the Brooks offense. PA have no problem scoring goals, and Brooks don't seem to be too sound in their back, letting up 4 to Worcester.

Re: ISL - Boys - 2008
Can't say I've heard of him.
Did Nobles play Dexter? Not on their schedule.
Anyone see the Bell Hill game? Was wondering who they are starting this year in the midfield.
Nobles v. SPS should be a fun game to watch. Alot riding on the game.

Diaz, Patrick M 2009
Finkelstein, Luke M 2011
Ivsin, Chris M 2010
Martellini, Marco M 2010
McQuillan, Sam M 2010
Pick 4 out of 5 unless BHS goes to a 3-5-2. Two of these are DAP players so my guess is they start.

Globe has them 1-1 and you know the Globe is never wrong about anything
