Way off for some of us -It would take me two years to make $4,000 as a club coach.

What makes me laugh is the notion that you should or even can police this environment. In todays world where few people think anything of disclosing sensitive information or posting all osrts of photos of themselves, why do any you feel the need to protect someone's virtue? The truth is that most of us here are just plain cowards because we are too afraid of identifying ourselves simply because we are afraid someone might write something bad about us. Grow up folks. Didn't you ever hear the old chant "sticks and stones may break my bones but workds will never hurt me?"

This is all just a votex of cyber trash that you really can't take too seriously. So what if a kid gets bashed. So what if a coach gets bashed. What does it really mean? Seriously there are only about a 100 or so active posters on this forum. The truth is there is far worse things out on the internet and most of this is just meaningless babble that only a few people in the know actually understand. Seriously how many people really know who FM or JD actually is? Do you actually think someone from Florida even cares? Time for some of you to get over yourselves and come to grips with the notion that what you write here is not even a blip on the cyber landscape.

I closed both threads because they were not threads that would add anything to the lively debate that is this board. There are age specific threads, club specific threads, league specific threads....

More importantly, during the "tryout" season I feel both threads would be nothing but a bashing session that would get rapidly out of hand as each club postures for recruits.

For those who wish I had left them open are probably the ones who would be under ban by end of the weekend. There is more than enough information on how people feel about the most visible coaches. some true, some fabricated, some spun by opposing coaches and clubs and some real honest to god opinions of real players and parents (rare enough those).

But to leave those threads open would asking for more trouble than I choose to moderate. It was giving the "over the top" haters a dog bone with meat on it to strip, just NOT a good idea.
