As long as a player is eligible where they were and that program approves, the player can move and play right away.

Ceci Jensen has done the same thing moving from Elon to UMass, Steve Rose has done the same thing moving from Seton Hall (where he red-shirted one year so he still had one year of eligibility remaining) to Boston College while he goes to graduate school.

They happen to be DCL players and I follow DCL soccer but there are other examples-

Northeastern players (McGaffigan and keeper) transferring to UMass, etc.

It says sophomore next to her name in the article.

Roster still shows her a freshman, but thanks for the correction. I knew she was either a sophomore or a junior.

A number of the MPS girls have done well at the D3 level and are getting playing time. William Smith, Wash U, Haverford (looks like 2), Dickinson.

Stars are still for D1 but looks like for D3, MPS did well.

Didn't SR graduate from Seton Hall? Once you graduate, does a player still need to be released?

K Blain of Georgetown had been doing well but suddenly has no minutes the past six games. Does anyone know if she is injured?

William Smith is ranked #2 in D3 women.

Not sure actually maybe not; it might be a different process. Point was these transfers happen all the time and everyone keeps saying players can't play and have to sit out.

Sangster left Hartford and seems to be sitting out at UMass. Can anyone confirm or is he just not playing?

Go OZ! She was always one of the top defenders in the state.

Can you transfer to another school within the season? That is, is it possible to play for two different college teams in the same season?
