US MNT is a friggin' joke. Gold Cup should be an opportunity to bring in some of the younger players to get a little experience.

Mostly retreads from 2010. Not much of an effort to bring in a new generation. Incredible incompetence...

And we think its because we let our athletes play HS soccer that we suck in the intrnl. arena.

Adu has played well at times for various US teams. He has the speed, skill and ability to beat people 1 on 1 often lacking on the full NT. You can't field a team full of players like him, but his inclusion is not as crazy as it first seems. I'd rather see him play than many of the defense minded midfield retreads Bradley often selects. That said, this is probably Adu's last chance to carve out a spot for himself. The pressure is on for him to play well.

And you've watched him play for his club recently? You're in position to evaluate whether or not he should be picked?

It's hard to watch him play when so much of his time is spent sitting on the bench. And that doesn't count all the instances when he's not even on the game day roster.

However, he's been a complete bust at every good club he's been to.
